The premise is beautifully stupid in the best possible way: a party of fresh 1st-level characters goes up against something far, far above their pay grade, then everyone gets to find out exactly how heroic, dramatic, ridiculous, or squishy their final moments can be.
Inside are 15 one-shot adventures for 1st-level characters, drawn from the show and newly written for the book. Each one is designed for fast setup, big personalities, terrible odds, and the sort of table chaos that makes players say “this is a terrible idea” immediately before doing it anyway.
This is a cracking option for filler sessions, convention games, nights when half the party can’t make it, or any table that wants to enjoy D&D without pretending every character needs a ten-page destiny document and emotional support backstory.
